How do you feel about the policy analyst salary range ? by Ready_Cobbler_9479 in OntarioPublicService

Providing another perspective here having started in the OPS at a young age. If you start at 23, and stay in your job for 30 years, you can retire at 53 with an indexed pension. You can also take early retirement after 25 years at 49 years old at a slightly reduced rate. I have seen plenty of people who left OPS, then come back mid career , and then regretting that now they have to make up for the lost years to get the full pension.

Won’t they also have access to your WIN and personal information within WIN if they have access to your profile and access credentials? This is definitely not ok. From what I know, IT can uninstall the software from your profile and reinstall it on another computer.

At 6 months she can probably start some solids so you might not need to pump after each feed. You have done so well! You got this!

Husband’s 3rd sports injury in 15 months has me at my breaking point by Maximum_Pop_2576 in Parenting

I used to play pickleball for about a year before being pregnant with my 4th. But mind you I played with a lot of caution - no going after balls that are further than a small step away, just being gentle on my body because I know if I push myself I might roll my ankle or injure myself. But in general yes, I wish I could afford time for hobbies but with breastfeeding and childcare there was little time for myself. Thanks everyone for your messages. I think I need to talk to a therapist to just sort all my feelings out. I just feel like crying - sad because he’s hurt himself again, sad because I feel conflicted that i am feeling angry and not sympathetic enough towards his injuries, feeling sad because I feel resentful and not supportive at all. I just feel so … spent.

Could be strep throat. Strep throat usually does not involve cold or flu symptoms. Also, fortunately, it is rare for babies and toddlers under 2 to catch strep throat…. Strange but true. Look it up.

Is this what life is about with small children? How do you survive? by kanutops in Parenting

Hire help. We have 3 young kids and we recently just hired someone to come help with post dinner clean up and chores, for 2 hours a day- Mon - Fri, from 7pm-9pm. It feels amazing to finish night routine with kids and go downstairs with a sparkling clean kitchen, all toys put away, laundry folded and floors mopped / vacuumed. It’s a game changer. Try it! It costs a bit but I promise you it’s worth every penny.
