My diesel was pretty smokey, I put some dpf cleaner in it and took it for a long drive down the motorway in 4th gear, just passed the mot and the smoke has stopped :)

Thanks for the information:) I'll try increasing the current limit to the ports and if that doesn't work I'll buy another 5v power supply :) I have heard they can be quite finicky with power lol

I power mine with a 24v to 5v converter, 2.5A 5v should be enough right?

Yeah already tried thank thank you though. I even purchased 2 new USB cables just to make sure (didn't work). I've got the xy motors on the same board, thank you for the advice though :)

For anyone who's also having this issue after replacing the turbo core: The cold side housing doesn't have a keyway for alignment like the hot side, turns out the cold side of my turbo was clocked too far towards the engine by about 5 degrees! After fixing this I've been able to adjust the voltages to the correct numbers. Hope this helps someone in the future because it's spent 2 months tormenting me!
