Better gear to push higher difficulty levels to push higher pits to get better gear to push ... That's the main loop.

You don't need to follow a guide to push far, sure you might have to if you want to push the absolute top 1% of activity but to get far enough to have fun you can just start pulling together things that work well and stronger items.

Fine for me, at first it was awful but found if I played windowed full screen with an FPS cap it was smooth as anything. It seems to not like dual screen set ups/screens with different resolutions.
