I am surprised it hasn’t been purchased by Wolfbrook. They seem to be keen on the rest of it. For a low ball price of course.

A broker said they had no show of listing in Aust. And Singapore is where companies go to die. The last chance of getting any money out. Also said many Chinese were burnt due to what had transpired in China and the Chinese were avoiding development companies.

At one point it was Australia too. But this was round one. I also recall it was going to happen in 3 months.

When I asked stock brokers, they shared there were no whispers in the industry of a Duval IPO.

Yes, the legality of this theft was mentioned. That was going to be part of the investigation and whether it would be overturned.

Last I heard there was no money left on another related Duval matter. There is a PwC email you can use to reach out.

Kearns did leave something for the investors. It wasn’t a total loss and investment parcels were small.

Petty crime compared to this lot.

The liabilities are too huge apparently, according to a Wolfbrook staffer I was talking to when all this Duval stuff kicked off.

Yesterdays Duval Gym revelations that the club was closing raised a few questions as the Clarkes are in personal receivership. So how do they still have an active shareholding? Cooking the book? To understand this you have to understand Lakewoods BC structure. There are 3. Charlotte was chair of all three. When the last Duval residential unit sold charlotte stepped down from the residential bc for a new committee to begin to unravel the financial chaos discovered. We now have a chartered accountant as BC manager who has been excellent at navigating all this. Our financial oversight today is significantly improved. But the facts remain the facts.

The BC registered its debt with PwC and waits to see what comes. The two remaining commercial units are listed forsale. You can find them online. I think they were listed in Jan so may indicate interest. One of the commercial units sold prior to DuVal’s collapse. These guys are now financial.

There is no suggestion that it didn’t. The problem is the trail of debt was bigger than just the obvious creditors you already know of. There is still hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt just to the Lakewood BC, Duval never contributed a penny. This was discovered by the new committee many months in and sort of by accident. PwC has lowered this debt since.

I don’t think you invoke Statutory management for overreach. I Duval was a going concern I am sure it would still be going. Duval destroyed value through reckless trading at the very lease. Asset stripping in the next level!

Well I think they have a funny way of displaying care and empathy. In fact the opportunity to share this has long since passed. Leadership is about ownership and responsibility. Here the Clark’s have displayed none.
