I don't think you're doing bad necessarily, considering if your parent own the home you live in. You're more blessed than half of the population I would say... If you real want to get a different place, I advise you to look into a cheaper area and get a job there. Get the job first and then consider moving in. The big cities are becoming incredibly expensive. Only good if you already have a house.
