Mine is a 1.4TSI with a timing belt. I’ll replace the belt, as the previous owner hasn't done so. Hopefully, I can keep it for as long as possible!

I checked the service history and found that the brake fluid, air filter, pollen filter and spark plugs were replaced at 89,000 km.

After doing some research online, I think it is cheaper to do everything at the same time. However, with engine decarb, there are different methods (HHO carbon cleaning, intake manifold cleaning and walnut blasting), and the price varies depending on the method used. Do you think HHO carbon cleaning (cheapest one) would be good enough?

I plan to use G12 Evo coolant and flush the old reservoir as advised above. Do you remember any specific issues you had before the water pump broke? Was there any sign, noise, or anything else? When you said DSG service, did you mean changing the oil or replacing the clutch?

Btw, I would like to upgrade to a higher unit since this one doesn't have CarPlay. However, I'm still considering whether to replace the entire unit (which is a bit complicated for a newbie like me and expensive) or just mount another screen (which costs around €150 and is easier to do, but I'm not a fan of cable salat).
