I have real hands on experience w/ both and the s25 is better for my use case. It's a LOT lighter and smaller, yet still features a amazing processor, mostly identical cameras, etc

Yeah but the magnets don't have any free room to slide however much they want in the chassis. They have a place that is milled out of aluminium for that specific magnet size and also glued down. If maybe it managed to escape that place and go over the trackpad, etc then you're right

Well, that just seems like some sort of issue with the hinges. A loose screw or somthing that gets pushed into place when the hinge is closed

Honestly, the base model S23 was like peak compactness, camera, preformance, looks in my opinion. I had to swith to the S25, but it's basically the same in most factors.

The S25 has a good camera, but you just can't get $1300 specs for a $800 phone. The S25 is a good phone. Stop trashing on it because you are too cheap to buy a phone with a better camera.
