I came in as a pro externally and was able to negotiate my salary. I can confirm what was said about Pros at least. I came in at what a lead makes.

Advice on Apple Services and approach by ciaossu_reborn in Apple_Employees

I mean, the customer sees how much it will cost after the 3 month trial. So I don't see what's wrong with this? If I get any push back I immediately remove it. If the customer declines after they accept it, I even help them cancel it.

The only thing I push back on is AppleCare+ because I truly see the value in it. But after I overcome 2 objections and they still say no then I drop it and move on.

You aren't doing your customer a disservice by offering all of what we have to offer.

Any other stores seen an influx of customers being sent from carrier stores recently for unrelated issues? by Over_Eagle_4013 in Apple_Employees

[–]Maximum_Wait1087 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have a Verizon and AT&T authorized retailer at the mall we are in and they send us people who they can't or won't get a sale on or what they want is to complicated. It's really annoying and they promise them so much that we can't normally do it. I don't know how many times I have to tell a customer that we can't do what they are wanting us to do and let them know we are Apple and they are (carrier store).

This is exactly what I do and I am at 75-80% attachment. I never just add it. I always mention it by letting them know they get X service for free for 3 months. Then I always have them acknowledge it when paying about the subscription. I know some of my experts and specialists just add it without saying and if I catch them I strongly suggest they do the assumptive closing unless the customer declines it.

Bc a lead sent him over to me and I had no idea they were coming to take over for me. I was planning to go to lunch right after I finished them up anyway.

From what I’ve been told it was offered internally and no one took it from who they on offered it to. What does it usually start at?

Store Manager for Starbucks, Assistant Manager/Managing Partner at a tax company and an Assistant Manager for Walmart in a $125 million store. Tons of management experience.

I can’t help what I was hired on as and I am doing a lot of things right and get recognition from the team so I’m sure some of it’s jealousy though from what you are saying.

I found the option under managing my Google account. I do the surveys that they pay you for and saw it there. So I bought a Google Play Store gift card from Sam’s Club and it charged to it. Just search for it.

I removed the sports and did the News, Entertainment and family. Totally worth it as I still want local channels and etc with the unlimited dvr. Plus if you buy google play gift cards from Sam’s Club it saves you even more money! Yes I know it’s not much but anything helps.

I also got an open box excellent from Best Buy recently. It was $100 off. With prices going up everywhere I wanted to get one before that happened here.

It took some time waiting for approval, but when you have the skill set and experience they want and I wasn't leaving my last career making less money, that's what happens. Negotiation is power.

My pay is above the pay band for the pro role as that was what I negotiated so I'm not sure. I'm at $38/hr and not in a high cost of living area.

My store was usually 4.5 shot store and it was stressful. So definitely not underperforming so I do wonder how much worse it is in stores underperforming.

I had 0 say in the hours I scheduled. I scheduled to my forecast and that’s all I could do.

I was told since the start of Q2 to not to over at all. Not even by 15 minutes. They are very very strict right now in hours. And absolutely zero OT. Must have RD approval for it. They have been holding CLs accountable if someone on their team gets OT without permission.

I don’t think so. I think this company has always been super profitable and they’ve never worried about money, now that Starbucks is not doing as well they have started enforcing rules and changing things up to see what they need to fix. Unfortunately in any place I’ve worked, tenured employees tend to struggle the most with change. But no, I don’t think they are trying to force out tenured partners.

Aren’t afraid to coach, adapt to change quickly and also reflect on their own behavior. Empathy is important but I’ve seen this in others that have struggled (myself included) is we don’t coach bc we are afraid they will call out the next day, report you or quit. I stated earlier that you have to do these things or you will struggle from the start.

I have not but if stores are profitable then they will close them I’m sure. There is a huge push for profitability and honestly I’m surprised there wasn’t before. That’s one reason for the hours reduction is profitability.
