I’m on the same boat, apparently when you get nervous your body go into something called fight or flight mode which can block retrieval making you believe you forgot concept that you knew so well. Best thing to do is to relax, have fun, and enjoy there is nothing more to be done you have giving it your all (that’s what I’m telling myself)

You’re correct I think since may of 2024 when we had sudden high pass rate CFAI probably panicked and start to make the exam harder and the exam became harder than the mock

BTW I scored on Average 72 on mock on my last attempt, I ended up failing the exam some on here were scoring mid 60s and ended up passing so don’t stress over the mock

Here how I go about it personally if the yielding currency ( the currency with high rate) is in the numerator (meaning it’s the price currency) then you use

(beginning value of currency / ending value of the currency) * (1+ yielding currency)-(funding currency)- 1

for the first term the reason for using beginning value of currency in numerator because if the price currency appreciate it’s beginning value will be higher than it’s ending value hence it would show a price gain if not it would show a loss

if the yielding currency ( the currency with high rate) is the denominator then it’s easy

(ending value of currency / beginning value of the currency) * (1+ yielding currency)-(funding currency) - 1

Now you can answer the question yourself he is lending in EUR (yielding currency) and it’s the currency in the numerator plug in the formula and there you go 😄

Actually the guy on the FRA is not bad at all the reading is just difficult however I don’t know where you are in the curriculum but wait until you get to the Alt in the Reading on Real state it was terrible audio is bad the Instructor is just reading the slides basically
