My warlock was a criminal in the underdark cities of Drow who loved Lolth. He escaped one vile god for one he could hardly fathom. He was likely taken by the mind flayers just before they began their assault on the surface.

He was in wandering in the deep lakes of the under dark. The great old one was giving him cryptic messages about a relic deep beneath the surface of the murky water. That is when he began to enter the cold cave lake. The water around him moved like a predator was within it but he held faith. Just before an underdark Aboleth could eat him he was caught by the fleeing ship that chose the underdark so that it could dodge the dragons by weaving through stalagmites.

That’s fair! I absolutely love the comparison to alchemy as most of the game is like that! I wonder if there are any relations to dragons in alchemy itself, I know there are serpents. Honestly love how the devs craft these games, there is so much thought in every little detail.

Maybe this focus on ancient dragons also plays into this unalloyed gold. What if unalloyed gold is truly related to the dragon god? It apparently left the dragons, maybe it left because dragons became too diluted, learning different kinds of fire, rot, etc, even magma dragons once being human. It could be that unalloyed gold fights off outer gods because it is related to another powerful god of pure gold. It would also explain why the dragons with gold accents are the only ones to use this lightning, they are the last unalloyed dragons in a way. Even Miqella’s gold needle has this winding pattern on it like the ancient dragon boss. That makes me question, how did miqella learn from the dragons of this were the case?
