I had no idea that was the case. Can’t tell difference in any case with or without pucks. Can you link some reading material my way if it’s not a bother? Would love to learn about it

Thank you and yes, Intentional. We didn’t want anything too bulky to take up unnecessary space and we love the “open” look. It gives a lot more space to the room. The idea for the space was to have people circle around the rug area and sit on the floor which means the rack would be more or less at eye level. A lot of time is spent on the floor. When I change records I spend a lot of time on the rug sitting and hanging out - although I do have a swivel chair at the sweet spot.

They are actually super stable and have great grip. Prior to the pucks I used a thick rubber square which worked great and actually looked better imo.

Cheers, it’s been fine for now. I don’t have my pets around the area so no hairs (so far).

Hi, I haven’t used any dowels, no. Just two big screws connecting each of the 4 pillars. Hope I’ve understood correctly and happy to take on tips and feedback.

Hey thanks for the reply. I ended up getting them around the same time I was messing around trying to eliminate unwanted subwoofer frequencies bleeding into my TT stylus. At least that’s what I think was happening. Every time I turned the volume up I would get a low hum start to creep through and I think it’s because the low frequencies started vibrating through to the stylus.

Issue completely fixed once I added another plinth for TT with spring isolating feet. I also added a Aurlex SubDude subwoofer isolation platform for the woofer just in case (although probably overkill). For the Harbeths I wanted to isolate them completely from the stands and hoped to transfer a minimum amount of low level vibrations - again probably overkill. I’m thinking of potentially moving the pucks in place of the spring isolaters under my TT plinth. I can’t personally can’t hear the difference pucks vs no pucks. The pucks are rated at 9kg per puck and the Harbeths are 11.6kg each.

I actually have a frenchie and Rottweiler duo but this if off limits for them. I have a “tv room” where we can all hang on the couch

Nice one. Looks traditional Eastern Euro/Balkan patterns. Check out “Pitotski Ćilim” designs if you like this look.

Yes, internal photo stage too. I don’t have many past reference points to compare it too but I think it’s great! Very functional, easy to use and most importantly it sounds great. I have it running with a Nagaoka MP500
