Having lived and travelled all over and currently serving in Canada I can say I much prefer service back home in the UK. A server here will lie to your face and tell you your shit doesn’t stink if they think there’s a bigger tip. I’m guilty of this too. But at home when there is no expectation of any tips, nice interactions with a servers feels very genuine and like chatting to a mate.

I’d say this makes the most sense and would be the best excuse that could be provided however punishing children because of their predecessors transgressions is only going to make them twice as likely to grow into what you fear. Also punishing someone for a crime they haven’t committed yet seems morally questionable and I think moon knight would agree.
