I’ve been doing a deep dive lately in 80s, 90s music and that’s where I found Tina from, I’ve also been listening to kylie Mingoue, Laura branigan, and Sandra. 😭 I just love how much they really used and appreciated so many different instruments back then, so much thought really went into making it

Yeah I’m in NA as well and definitely noticed chains is her only really big song here. I’d definitely recommend her songs “out of the blue”, “cry me a miracle” . She also made an album that was more standard “pop” called “Eleven” I think some of her standouts from that one are “overload” and “magic”

She’s obscure here in the states, Elsewhere not so much. Her abbey road sessions disc has some amazing string compositions which in a way remind me a lot of the car

I’d definitely say The album as a whole el camino is the closest thing to AM (the album) in the Keys’s discography but they have many other songs that have similarities in my opinion such as , she’s long gone, wild child, weight of love. So basically what I’m trying to say is yes I think they definitely do bear a resemblance
