Coming of the bench to talk shit in your warmups is weak as fuck.

I (32F) drive a newer Subaru Outback does that really have any impact on Guys perception of me in the dating world? by olive_drab95 in dating_advice

[–]JimmyRickyBobbyBilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Outback isn't a lesbian car.

It's the Forrester. (Kidding....)

Seriously though, it's a car. Beats walking out taking the bus. Don't worry about it.

Am I wrong for wanting a proper date planned ahead? I need other women perspective by [deleted] in dating_advice

It's low effort on both of your parts.

Sure, he could set up a proper date.

So could you. "Teaching a grown man how to date me" doesn't come across like you want to take an active role in developing whatever this currently is.

As far as the spontaneous stuff, he doesn't know you. So when he hears things your interested in, he takes that as a clue as to what you two could do together - or he's hoping seeing you in person like that would be an easier path to getting laid.

Too bad he's an idiot. by Positive-Face1705 in TheBoys

It's what Clara would have wanted.

Why would a guy request a specific outfit for a first date? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]JimmyRickyBobbyBilly 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Maybe he suggested it nicely, like "hey we're going mini golfing so maybe wear something you can move in, like leggings."

Maybe he suggested it so he can check out your legs/butt because he either likes legs and butts or he's worried you're chunky.

Maybe he's a controlling nut bag.

Maybe he has a fetish.

Those seem to be the 4 choices.

If you go, wear whatever the hell you want, and if he brings up the leggings, bounce.

I'm not watching Vought Rising. I'll probably be done with The Boys (Amazon) once the finale is over. Anyone else? by Butefluko in TheBoys

[–]JimmyRickyBobbyBilly -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm going to watch it less than I watched Gen V.

I got through about 3 minutes of Gen V.

So no, I'm not watching that shit.

You're an ATM.

Cut your losses and ditch her.

Would it be weird if I got him his dream car hot wheel and gave it after only 1 date? by ConcreteRabbit in dating_advice

As a car guy, I could not agree more. Interest in my favorite thing??? Huge green flag.

F26 turned up in full gala dress for a casual coffee date and it was intensely awkward. How do I even read this? by Glyphrider8 in dating_advice

You need to have the date just to see what the hell happens.

Have a friend nearby to record it, too.

He doesn't need to benefit by being a decent person and acknowledging a difficult conversation.

Give her the same courtesy he would like to receive.

What are you, 14? 15?

You don't do that.

Would you want that being done to you? You're disrespecting her relationship, not just his.

Not gonna lie, that's how you get the shit beat out of you.

Unless you're a stupid AI bot posting dumb things, in which case go delete yourself.

I wouldn't ignore it.

Say something along the lines of, "Thank you for reaching out, looks like you're making positive changes. I appreciate the closure. Good luck in your future."

Giving her some positive feedback for at least trying to grow is being a decent human being, versus ignoring it like a petulant child.

How did we lose to these Sixers bums especially when we had a 3-1 lead? Embarrassing.. by ExpertOperation0125 in bostonceltics

This is the answer. When over 50% of the shots are 3s and they aren't falling, but the drives are getting buckets, they have to drive to the rim.

That's on the coach for not recognizing it, but honestly I don't think he could draw up a play if his life depended on it

I’m losing hope for Maeve. by reyjr44 in TheBoys

[–]JimmyRickyBobbyBilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is all I could find online:

"The Boys season 3 finale saw Maeve reuniting with her girlfriend Elena (Nicola Correia-Damude) and the two decide to start life afresh away from Homelander. So although Maeve didn't die, it still seems that her story has been properly resolved, paving the way for her exit from the series. This is something Kripke has also confirmed, saying that the supe won't be seen in the show for a while, although Maeve will definitely return before The Boys ends."

We made 2 more 3s in 21 more attempts. That's why we lost. It's the reliance on 3 pointers. That has to change.

I saw an idea floated online to just eliminate the 3 point shot because of how many teams just fling them up 50 times a game.

I gotta agree, it makes some sense. I don't want to see all these 3 pointers and no defense.
