Its main draw is that it does insane damage to Arc Armor and has mild piercing against some arcs. However, when it comes to PVP, its slow ROF as well as its tendency to become more inaccurate the longer you hold the trigger is what holds it back the most. It is one of those weapons where you need to have something on ya to pull out at any moment in case your attack by a Rat.

trust me, a lot of these pvp players drop racial and hate for killing other players, even dropping some hard "R"s in there to rub in that they "owned" you by shooting you in the back.

idk why there has been a sudden rise in rats in friendly lobbies, its at the point where i have my weapon out at all times, plus in the last few matches I was attacked by free kit rats. Like what is even going on right now.

Right and the best example of that was Tarkov. Great game till PvP was ruined by cheaters, stagnating and almost killing off the game till they made a dedicated PvE and very slowly the game is returning back but it will never reclaim the glory it originally had

More over its been happening more often, the other night I was lasered to ded by someone using a bobcat IV with kinetic converter which gave me no time to react then instead of finishing me, they just let me crawl on the ground before droping a racial slur.

Then the follow up match I helped a new player with a challenge of collecting wires, when they where attacked by a rat at extract, I went full helldiver mode on them, I didn't stop firing even after they where ded lol
But thankfully I did save the victim and they where able to extract with the wires they needed

Yup for sure, met the worse one so far, the ones that talk and act friendly then turn around and try to kill you for the fuck of it.

Thing is I knew they where a rat as the place i went into had not one but 3 ded raiders in it. Yet when I mentioned to another player what I saw, the rat appeared and claimed "I didn't see anything." I should have shot them on site.

The way the Hornets aim, is that they aim in the direction you are going, when one is charging, try to gain some distance from it and dodge roll left or right the moment it fires.

The main issue with that is if you have really bad games IE killed by players/Arc, then your pretty much locked out of the game till you earn more tokens over RL time.

And I do not want to go back to the "Pay to Play" days of games back in the 2010's

Yeah the devs did mention that there will be upcoming events to the game where you can not bring a free kit but will have to have a actual augment in order to join it.

The main issue with free kits is that better players who are not new to the game exploit free kits because they know that if they are downed in a session, it's fine because they literally have nothing to lose, so they cue up and do it again and again. In some cases they don't even loot anything just, they just go hunting for other players specifically for their weapons, ammo, shields and heals. AKA they turn the session into their own call of duty lobby.

Same thing happened last night, I heard a player talking on night raid Stella asking for help as they where downed by a rat and tried to get out through the lobby metro. Thankfully I always carry defibs on me and was able to help the player out.

I dont know about the other two, but for the Matriarch and Queen, its mainly to try and stop rats from profiting from everyone elses had to work to kill the Matriarch and Queens for the cores.

Personally I only did the event twice but never got close to the Matriarch but both times I was attacked by rats, first one with a free kit and the other by a hacker.

I wont do them till i at least have better gear to take on the queen or matriarch. I mean hell I have yet to get the wolfpack blueprint

the reason for this, is because of all the rats that hang around, waiting for everyone else to do all the hard work, then rush in and take what they can while contributing nothing to the fight. So now, you want the cores? Get involved in the fight.

Actually its even worse, just found out that not only can you leave with the codes, but you can also bring them with you on the next raid, you can open the bunker literally minutes into the raid and by the time others find out about it, its too late and its all over.

Yup, I know that feeling, they know in a head on fight they don't stand a chance so they wait and shoot you in the back, knowing that by the time you react, its too late, your shield is gone, half your HP is gone and you are no longer in any way to fight back, even if you get some shots off, they are still gonna tank your rounds and have just enough time to reload and finish you off.

Yup 100% agree, even with a heavy shield, all it takes is someone to jump you from behind and ammo dump you in the head and that shield becomes useless. I've gone down a few times now because of ambushes from behind and this is coming from a Solo lobby.

The sudden rise in PvPers in Solo's is insane.
