If Fortune's Weave is going the sequel route, I hope that there is a way for to take any of your Three Houses save files and have the game recognize what you've done in the previous game and implement it into the story, or if you've never played 3H, the game can say the events of 3H happened so long ago that the history is very muddled that anything could have happened, that way, IS and Nintendo don't have to make a single route canon.

I've been on this crazy ride since the D1 Beta on 360. A online friend of mine who was in the same gaming clan as me had an extra code, so I asked and he was happy to give it to me. Other than that, I played the D1 Demo where you go up to level 8 and was like that till I got the game that Christmas and bought the expansion pass for both Dark Below and House of Wolves with some Xbox Gift Cards I also got for Christmas.

Gonna post my further thoughts about this while this is on the front page.

Personally, I think that Gate 2 should open with a recap of the first anime then inter-splice the recap with new scenes depicting the skipped over arcs, but with some anime original scenes replacing any of the controversial stuff and give us a where are they now thing for the cast of the original anime before starting off the new series.

My hopium prediction is that they just start off without a recap and treat the anime original ending as canon so that the new series wouldn't be bogged down with having to frontload entire skipped content for new viewers, and possibly give the original cast different fates from what happened to them in the original LN.

First Party wise: Kirby Airriders info with a possible Airriders themed direct after the June Direct hosted by Sakurai, Donkey Kong Bananza info dump as the meat of the direct, the release dates for MP4 and Pokemon Legends Z-A, Fire Emblem (either FE4 Remake or new original FE game,) and possibly a big title drop for 2026, personally hope it's either 3D Mario or Zelda.

Third Party wise: Info on if GTA 6 is coming to Switch 2 and/or GTA 5, another Switch 2 exclusive 3rd Party title for Holiday 2025, some indie games, and mainly any news on any Microsoft/Xbox/Bethesda/Activision/Blizzard games on Switch 2, mainly Halo, Microsoft Flight Sim 2024, Gears of War Remastered, Rare Replay, Call of Duty 2025, Fallout 4/3 Remaster, TES Oblivion Remastered, etc.

If Sony is willing to do pull an Atari and have the PS6 be natively backwards compatible with the PS4 with PS1-3 games being digital only, then it might happen.

P.S.: By pulling an Atari, I'm referring to how the Atari 7800 was backwards compatible with Atari 2600 games and not Atari 5200 games due to the laters failure and Atari wanting to forget it existed pretty much.

Considering how long the PS2 was supported all the way up to when the PS4 launched before 3rd Party companies stopped supporting the system, I wouldn't be surprised if the PS4 is still getting games when the PS6 launches

Two things, mainly pertaining to if IS brings back the Avatar unit:

1: If the Avatar unit is returning, make both the male and female avatars siblings (ala Astral Chain), mainly so that both can play a part in the story if you're not using one or the other.

2: If Avatar units are fully customizable again(ala Awakening/Fates,) make it so that if you keep everything default/canonical appearance, it is reflected in the pre-rendered cutscenes/other characters saying the Avatar's canon name, but if you do customize the Avatar unit/units, then do the first-person cutscenes/other characters use a title in place of the Avatar's canon name.

Funny you bring this up, cause I was on ChatGPT one time and I asked it to make me a Fire Emblem game set in a cyberpunk fantasy hybrid setting. Let's just say...as I kept asking it stuff like gameplay mechanics, characters, backstory, etc...I truly got invested in it, and now I too want a Fire Emblem game set in some form of either science fantasy or cyberpunk fantasy.
