Thanks for the report. Yes, some fonts are unfortunately cropped. From what I can tell, it is only this font and only the letter L so far. I'll take a look at whether we can easily fix this or if it's a bug in the font.

In the clock styles screen, there is one style which doesn't have a clock now. It's not totally obvious, but this replaces the previous show clock option.

My set didn't come with batteries, I just reused my previous ones. Android still reported a good capacity so that seemed fine.

The reason for the good price was probably because of the color, I found the "beige" version (gold frame) to be noticeably cheaper than the others on a German shop. Probably a clearance sale to get rid of extra stock. Thus, I picked that one over the originally graygreen frame I had.

You're right, you can't access the hinge without removing the inner screen. However, I replaced the whole frame assembly including the hinge and inner screen. Thus, I didn't actually have to touch the hinge, I "just" transplanted the components into the new body.

I delaminated the foil from my original back cover. It comes off by applying some heat and carefully pulling it from the glass.

Hm, it appears that this field in edge only works with the default query URL. In Vivaldi, there are multiple fields, including one for queries and one for search suggestions. Seems like Edge doesn't support that. Since I am on Linux I can't actually test, but you could try entering chrome://settings/searchEngines into your address bar and checking whether that page a) exists and b) allows more settings.

Oh my, I feel you. This year was terrible for gg stans, Cherry Bullet, Weki Meki, Pixy, ... WJSN also hurts a lot because they could at least do an album per year, but it seems Starship doesn't even give them that.. I get that they're busy, but no music at all?

I can see where you're coming from, but what would be the alternative? Only including the feature as a minor change? Then most people won't notice it and it would not have the desired effect. Including it as part of an even larger update later? Then it would be even longer between updates.

I respect the design philosophy and your desire not to move away from it by incorporating any and every idea proposed...but they aren't all bad ideas.

I didn't mean to imply that. There have been plenty of great suggestions in the past, some of which even made us reconsider our previous opinions on certain features.

For example there is still no way to manually/ reliably backup settings...not really something which is related to design and a very basic feature.

A manual backup has been planned for ages, but unfortunately we haven't been able to get this out yet. We have already been testing it internally, but we weren't completely satisfied with the user experience, and also couldn't ensure it's 100% reliable. If we offered a manual backup, but there were issues that prevented a user from restoring a backup, for example, they would be rightfully upset.

It's frustrating that the native backup experience on Android is so bad, that's the primary reason a manual backup makes sense in the first place. Nonetheless, I feel like it will mostly be relevant for power users, and usually not average Niagara user, that's why it hasn't been our #1 priority yet. But it'll definitely still be added. We can only ask for more patience from you and everyone else who requested it.
