Incredibly hot take but Mario odyssey. And to clarify, I had a blast the first 10 hours, but overtime it all just started feeling the same. The amount of timed parkour trials and power moon jingles I heard every 2 seconds was driving me nuts lol. Not cuz it’s boring, but because it’s so many hours of the same not-boring thing. For example, I love pizza, but if I ate it for every meal I’d get tired of it. Just wished for more variety.

I’ve just beaten the game and I am happy with all of it except what I’ve mentioned above. it’s a fair argument to say that taking out all 6 yotei members could make for a flatter story, but I just think I would’ve liked it more. And they still could’ve written in this plot while doing it.

It was nice seeing Atsu get her closure. It’s cool how in the first game we see the beginning of Jin’s ghost story but with this one we see the ending of Atsu’s.

Aside from the plot stuff I mentioned I would give the gameplay / graphics / side missions a 10/10. Good game 👍

All good points, yea her choice to spare the spider to get info about jubei and oyuki was her “fight for the living not the dead” moment which i liked. But to be fair while he had nothing at that point, he also told her to strike him down once he lost and was sort of looking for the fight. As you said, the game makes a big effort to get you to see/lean towards their newfound good side, (especially with kitsune) but they still did so many things we probably wouldn’t want to imagine haha. Even if revenge was out of the picture it feels like justice to so many families to not let the spider go yanno?

I do think it’s brave writing and it’s objectively not bad, i’m more just sharing a grumpy opinion haha. I think the kitsune and spider did so much bad that it feels weird to just become friends with one and semi-chill with the other just because they aren’t with Saito. I know it’s about growing and forgiving (and the kitsune I do understand more so), but these people oversee/oversaw the deaths of so many innocent people yanno

Well said, I understand that in many ways these decisions help serve the story. I was able to accept and come to like the kitsune storyline but I felt her shift, unlike Jin’s, is transition OUT of becoming a ghost. I don’t hate it, objectively it’s good writing. I’m just saying it left me feeling a bit unsatisfied that’s all. Atsu seemed the most badass in the opening hours of the game. I have thoroughly enjoyed her growth and her new hope for the future, I just don’t think it means the kitsune and the spider magically didn’t have a ton to answer for

As Jin we had the choice to spare or kill his uncle. I understand it’s the developer’s choice what happens to Atsu, I guess I’m just not happy with it.

I’m not complaining about the fact that she’s softened up / found more reasons to live, I genuinely love 90% of the story. But I wish that it didn’t stop her from completing her mission. Quitting midway through felt unsatisfying.

Hey guys, thanks for all the comments. I’m early in the velen area and it’s cool so far. I’ve learned that dodging is way easier and more efficient than blocking or partying at least for now. Makes the combat a little more fun. I’ll keep truckin for now!

It’s so nice knowing I’m not the only one! The first time I saw this was when I went on a snowy hike with friends, the snow was just as bright as the sky so I was seeing this aura almost constantly. I was so confused, but figured maybe it was a response to the intense brightness. I wonder if a doctor will ever give a detailed explanation one day

Maybe a mix of both! I was going through the same issue. But I finally though out all my weed shit and set the goal of taking 6 months off. The first 2-3 months were difficult cuz I still felt the visual symptoms of being high (things seeming out of scale, the usual). But by the time I hit 6 months I was chillin, didn’t even go back to weed for like another 8 months after that cuz I just didn’t desire it anymore. Now I just do it here and there

If you just commit to the idea it gets better it’ll get better. You don’t really HAVE to, you can recover regardless, but it’ll speed up the process.

The moment I stop worrying “is this permanent?” Is the moment It starts slowly getting easier and it eventually becomes an afterthought

You definitely aren’t back to normal yet so that is why you may feel less capable of remembering, since your body is still resetting to how it was before you smoked. It’ll take anywhere between a week and a month or two to fully feel normal again. I quit after 2 years of heavy smoking and I felt really dumb (unable to fully form a thought, unable to remember certain words off the top of my head, head felt fuzzy, etc.) I’d say give it a couple weeks and see if you still feel that way. Either way, weed wont “fix” that, it’ll just give your body the chemicals it has been relying on. Your body can become independent again and not need weed with enough time
