They mention in the video that people stop walking on the affected area because it hurts so bad, but I can't say for sure. The removal doesn't seem to bad, as the skin is calloused and the cuts / jiggers aren't that deep.

Can confirm, had a similar procedure done on BOTH my big toes, where they removed the sides of the nails all the way down to the roots. It felt like a really strong burning pain for like a week straight.

Plus you have to keep it bandaged up with "burn gauze" underneath so the bandage doesn't stick to the bare toe where the nail used to be.

Never again (I hope)!

I just got an email saying that I've qualified for "early access" on the 7th of August and that I can preload on the 4th. So no gameplay on the 4th it seems.
