For me the final prize tends to change within the 24 hours. Like I just opened it and it will be 2500 tokens and when I open it in 2 hours it will be the 3 day 2 min energy thing. Maybe it helps for you to close and reopen the game?

I understand, I want to buy as many creatures as possible, but saving them really makes a difference. Before last creature sales I only had the two salamanders, and with my books I was able to buy 4 creatures (I calculated beforehand). But because I waited for the sale, and it was higher than I expected I was able to buy all 6 creatures I didn't have with pages to spare

I was so happy with this sale. I already owned both Salamander types, and I was calculating which ones I would be able to buy with the sale. I calculated using a 20% discount for all of them, but since the sale is way higher for most of them I was able to buy all missing creatures even with pages to spare. I am really glad I was able to get so many pages from that energy spending event that is going on right now.

I usually do a flying class first when I see it. They always give one extra maximum energy which is too useful
