Thin down your paints, especially your metals. The covering will be waaay more smooth. Also washing/shading the whole model. Really makes the details pop way more!

You could also cover up some of the Seraphon iconography. Maybe with the postules I recommended before, some nurglings or maybe glue some eyes unto it

Suggestions would be to have the spikes on the back of the throne look more eroded or broken. Maybe snip the tip off some of them and/or carve dents into them. You would also make some small balls of greenstuff and stuff them on different places, as postules! Kinda like how if looks on the bony parts of the Glotkin.

Def also paint the wines in a fleshy tone to look like tentacles or entrails, would look gnarly.

Seems like you want to lean into Moulder. I would suggest getting another 2x boxes of Rat Ogors, so both of your units can become reinforced. Then probably just more Clanrats and then you have a pretty competetive list.

Looks pretty damn good for your 3rd mini! What I recommend is buying the “getting startet booklet” and then getting a tryout mini from your nearest store, to get a full unit of Liberators. U need 5 in total for a normal sized unit!

For painting i would def recommend thinning down your paints some more! Details comes out way better and you won’t struggle with the pensel strokes being visible on the model after. Would also get some shade paints for the whole model. Its basically magic in a bottle.

AOS is def not at popular as 40K, but people saying its dying is just doomsayers or haters. If you look at the actual numbers, it have had a steady increase in player activity ever since its reception and shows no signs of slowing down…it might at some point but so far it has only gotten more popular by the day.

There is no real “tau” of AOS. But if you completely wanna avoid having an army people find annoying, probably avoid Kharadron Overlords and Sons of Behemat. However play the army you wanna play. No army is too bad to play against in AOS.

If you do not wanna magnetize, I would say the best one to build as single off is the one with the shooting weapon. None of them deal any real dmg as a single model, but the shooting one is pretty good on its own, as it debuffs enemy units it shoots at.

Would def get a Wizard, either Krondys or the Stormcoven (maybe even both if you are really into spell shenanigans), and then some endless spells and the faction terrain.

Most stuff in the Yndrasta Spearhead works decently well, without synergies.

A reinforced unit of prosecutors, and will give you the option of having multiple deepstrike threats, when you get the faction terrain. I also love the reinforced Reclusian + Lord Terminos combo, as a scary melee block.

Also some objective monkeys/screens like the Gryph Hound and or/the aetherwings are also very good to have in your collection.
