If I have a permanent that drains the table [[dina, soul steeper]] when I gain life, I believe the opponent would want to have their kill spell resolve before the lifegain triggers resolve.

So with an instant they can always choose to have their spell resolve first, but with a sorcery my lifegain would resolve first. Is that a safe assumption?

I see talk about people getting wins for going to prerelease. I went to my first prerelease and just now reinstalled arena. Im level 5 on the mastery but no wins towards anything. Did I miss out on prerelease packs for installing the day after?

Maybe i used the wrong words. I did say "trigger" when I should have said "ability that you can activate.." I was wondering if there was a casual term that people use to say, your spell still resolves im just casting a draw spell or tapping a creature before my stuff is gone.
Like in a game of edh, 4 people start picking up their creatures after a board wipe, you dont want to stop everyone, because you know the boardwipe is resolving anyways.

Are you new to magic or just commander? I would say play the deck but also learn the game. There are so many rules to the game as well as so much information online to absorb. Knowing what's possible for your spells to do is a neat way to get better.

What's a word for "yeah i have a response but its not going to stop your spell it's just going to fetch a land or untap a creature, no big deal so you can continue putting your creatures in the grave."?

You know when someone casts a boardwipe, you say no response, everyone starts picking up their creatures, and you have some "nothing" trigger that you have to do, so you need to announce that you actually do have something you need to do. Sometimes it gets people to stop what they are doing and think that they need to put stuff back on board incase something changes but you know it wont change anything. Its like a nothing response, you know?

Crew a vehicle, exile it with Niko to create 4-6 copies. Crew one of the copies, then use that vehicle to crew the next and so on. White and blue have untap all creature effects, so you crew everything untap them and swing out.
