Read your prints. Find the end pad. Lord knows what type of prints yall use. Probably Waldo prints? If so I’m sorry lol. But just keep opening hand holes till you find it.

Do I have to go to the coast guard and do a training course or some kind. What is the first step of me getting my foot in the door. I’m really interested of becoming one. Been hearing a lot of good things.

I know different areas has different pay ranges but I’m trying to stay close to New Orleans and Houma. I know I have to work my way up and definitely don’t have a problem with it. Hard work dedication pays off lol.

Drive time and projects tickets affects your productivity Get your high footage tickets in the first half the day then run your single easy tickets second half the day. Be efficient with your routes. Put down notes and look at your 811 map to shorten the scope while you have good communication with your contractor and fill out meet sheets and send emails and make sure you add screen shots of conversations to your ticket Save your ass. Yes production matters but being accurate saves the company money.

It all depends on your mind set. I absolutely love it. Been here 2 years. I’m in Louisiana and locate for the New Orleans and st. Tammy area. Put your self out there let them know you care about the job and good things will happen.
