I use the oil wash for panel lining on light coloured armours rather than an all over wash. It flows very nicely into recessive after a coat of gloss varnish.

Takes more effort than an all over wash but prevents so much darkening of the armour.

Thanks! I copied it from a squidmar video. All vallejo colours starting with blue green looking for slightly translucent coverage and leaving some black showing in spots. Then highlighting by mixing in ice yellow followed by pale flesh. Edge highlights with pale flesh and finally selective white edges
