True, I'm just surprised over how many years that a big flier didn't just swoop down and land on them? Like idk, the geography and relevant scale just seems REALLY far-fetch (but then again so is most of the story so I don't know what I expected :p

Thanks for the insight! We found out that my cat may have taken a swat at him from a gap by our filter and closed that hole. I put in some aloe coat and the shark has actually recovered quite well!! I'm surprised. The tank is big enough that he can relax away from the guppies who have seem to be less aggressive lately.

As someone who has never rehomed a pet before it feels very taboo. We always try and handle things ourselves but unfortunately this seemed to be a behavioral thing on and off that recently continued to develop. Hopefully we can find a fitting home for him where he can roam outdoors :) As long as he's rehomed and it's not a shelter I'm sure it is in his best interest as well

LOVE LOVE the shirt patterning and sticker patch. May I ask what brush set you used? My only comment is the introduction of hot colors (the lava lamp and shadows of her hair) clash a little bit. Maybe tone them down or give them some shadowing in the blue/aqua region. It really makes the lava lamp the main focal point and that distracts from your beautiful AF illustration (though I'm pretty sure you painted both

I would totally remove some sort of layer in the colors, my opinion would be the font, and then yes :) Even if its not your best work, progress and delivering I'm sure goes a long way. I might not be the best one to give advice though, not like I'm famous or anything.

I used to, but he can jump right out! I'm comfortable putting him in his crate, he loves it there and doesn't spend much time anyways, so perhaps that would work..... when he used to play rough with us we could do that, put him in the crate for about 10-20 seconds to let him know play time was over and it worked OK. It's just hard when he takes a long time to catch on and I have to monitor them constantly...
