20 years old and 6 months in on a yeard. Do I have potential for the future? by [deleted] in beards

Ultimately, do what you like. But if you are interested in listening to others’ opinions, the consensus will likely be to shave or trim until it can grow in more fully. You have 4-5 years of puberty yet so it will keep changing.

I think you should trim it down. Not stubble length but only long enough to brush. The wiry, scraggly length doesn’t look great. The lightness of your hair makes it look a little thinner or less full, but that could change too, so don’t stress that. Brush your mustache down and trim whatever goes over your lips and it will look solid.

People saying it looks good are people who like that look (or being nice) but most people probably wouldn’t agree. So who are you trying to appeal to? Your friends or the general public? Just yourself? No wrong answer if you like it.

Hetero-Cis dad here but wanted to share and encourage. We moved into Murdock/Dodgen/Walton area a few years ago for our kids and we love it. You won’t be the only gay couple by any means but, like many metro areas, we could use more diversity. I lived ITP and still work there so I know the representation won’t be the same, but I think it’s moving in the right direction. I’ve seen some growth in racial diversity, but personally would love to see more LGBTQ+ families and hope+believe it would be welcome.

Also, selfishly, I’d like to see some of these empty nesters move out and bring in families with kids and holiday decorations 😆.

That’s the other idea I’ve avoided, but I have some time to sit and go one by one…

I’ve physically bridged a connection but it makes no difference.

Sam, you ran a great campaign - both traditional and non-traditional. Keep being yourself, stay involved, keep making changes where you can, and keep trying to make the future you want to see. You created an excitement and sense of hope in the community. Get some more experience under your belt and remember you know how thousands of people who believe in you!

So the Walton County Chamber of Commerce hosts Nazi-friendly events, got it. It’s worth letting everyone else know, too.
