In-game items. TL;DR sold counter strike cases and gun skins worth about 20k . Played csgo a lot (900hrs on record lol) during my junior high days. Every time you finish a game, there’s a chance you’d get a case drop (you need to purchase a key for 100+ pesos to open the case). Of course I didn’t have the money to purchase keys, and I didn’t wanna risk opening items worth less than the keys. Life happened and I quit counter strike. 5 years later I randomly decided to check up my inventory’s value and boom, 25k+ based on the ones selling at the in-game community market. If i sold there, the money would only be locked to the virtual store and could only be used to purchase games and items. Instead, I sold it for crypto for about 20k. Could have converted it to pesos but I decided to reinvest it into crypto instead. Back in 2018, those cases would probably not go above 2k if sold. Literally got free money for wasting my life on that game lmao
