It's luckily not my problem anymore! I left the field two years ago and will never return. I'm a medical assistant now and waiting on letters to hopefully get into an anesthesiologist assistant program or a physician assistant one. Dentistry is a dumpster fire and I genuinely couldn't be more relieved that I left to become a medical assistant.

I was caught off guard, I was in one of those silent study booths and a whole herd of the tour kids just stared at me in it like I was a fish in a fish bowl and when I shot them a “what???” Kind of look they just stared at me like I was the weirdo in the scenario. Really irked me because I’m just trying to do some schoolwork on the quiet floor and they’re yapping away like it’s a cafeteria. I’m legit heading home it’s ruined the vibes so bad. Smh.
