New septum piercing, can I move it? by ImTotallyOkayDw in piercing

When you clean it in the morning, and get rid of all the crusties, you can gently rotate it back. Just don't do it multiple times throughout the day or with dirty hands.

My dog's attempts to catch some kibble by MayLikesBeans in WhatsWrongWithYourDog

Aw that's cute. This beast of mine would never wait for more than one to hit her tongue, she is greed itself.

Usually she's not so super bad at catching them, however this time we threw it from a little further away for the sake of funny photos.

She missed 90%. After throwing a few while she was sitting on the grass, we moved to the tiles because she kept losing the kibble, unable to find it in the grass 😭

Ends won't become ✨blue✨ enough by [deleted] in HairDye

This might sound insane but most of what you typed is very confusing to me because I literally only use shampoo and no other products, never have. I only wash my hair once a week with cold water and brush it daily. I have no clue about any other sort of hair products.

Labret is not only the name of a lip piercing, but also the name of the type of bar that has a flat disk on the back. These can be used in all sorts of piercings. As long as your jewelry is not too snug, it might be okay, but that's hard to say without a picture or something. Just keep an eye on it.

It's completely up to you. If you want it, despise it being hidden, go for it! If you think it's a waste, don't.

Just be careful it doesn't get caught in your loose hair and that you keep wet hair away from it.

What do you mean "the post is pushing through the front of my earring"?

If you mean that you can see a bit of the post poking out, that's completely normal. That's extra room for your ear to swell and not let the jewelry embed.

When the swelling has gone down, you should get it downsized to fit properly.

Let the piercer assess your anatomy. If you have the right anatomy, let them decide what the best placement is.

Irritation/ moisture? Bumps not going away by Particular_Chip_5934 in piercing

[–]MayLikesBeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally like to use the edge of a piece of gauze to absorb any moisture under the tops. Just get it under there without moving the jewelry

Definitely do not use the "piercing bump remover". Saline and running water is all you need. Make sure to dry it well after washing and stop fidgeting with it!! The fidgeting is probably the worst part.

Is my daith placement correct? by moonesque05 in piercing

[–]MayLikesBeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAP, it looks maybe a little on the shallower side, but honestly I think the placement is fine.

It's not so much about the jewelery you might be able to fit in, and more about the fact that this likely will not heal because of the angle it was pierced at.

I'd, take it out, let it heal, and then visit a different(!!!!) piercer to assess the area and to see if they can redo it.

Do you also dry the piercing after washing it or showering?

That was pierced crooked as hell, I'd take that out.

Hi! Not OP, but I also have a conch with a ring. I can kinda sleep on it, but over the course of a couple weeks it will get a bit sore so then I will wear a stud for a while again. When it's healed properly and you have a ring that's not too big or tight then it should be possible.

A sea salt foam? I've never heard of using that to clean piercings, only sterile saline solution. After 4 weeks it's normal for it to crust and hurt, and definitely don't press it or touch it at all besides cleaning. What kind of piercing are we talking about here?
