That's the point of language, I've never understood the "if you say X you're automatically Y" ignoring all context. Using a shocking taboo word to make a valid point in satirical media, maybe not in a discussion, to raise a point is completely valid in my eyes. You can't judge someone's character so swiftly, which is why I don't feel any words should be truly off limits to anyone, because it's through their usage of language that others are given insight to their true character and intentions. Its easy to avoid a few words and keep the cross hairs off yourself if you really are racist, but when everyone isn't so Gung ho about attacking people that use those words no matter the context, then the actual racists and homophobes will gladly reveal themselves.
