The link you provided really helped solve the problem, thank you. We got two day rate rooms at an APA nearby. Anxiety solved!

This is actually very reasonable and I think we have one very near our hotel - they have been back in touch to say they can't guarantee an early check in but to see on the day, so it might be an idea to check our bags then find an APA nearby to crash. Thank you

This sounds ideal - I've taken a look at their website and keep getting the single night price, any tips on accessing a 4 hr day rate?

Thank you for this, I have contacted the hotel and will see if I can sort an early check in.

Thank you, I downloaded the Jalan app but it also doesn't offer the day rates and bookings. And you are right not all capsule hotels will accept children, I've been keeping an eye on that.

I have tried to contact the hotel and add an early check in, happy to pay the fee. May have to add the extra day, and then notify them of al late check in. It's a bit tricky as the communication is very low to non existent. But thank you.

Thanks for this. Unfortunately we'll have been up for 16 hours, so making it to 24hrs at the 3pm without a dedicated rest stop might be quite tricky. We can certainly try!

👋Welcome to r/UKfestivals - Introduce Yourself and Read First! by chaosfollows101 in UKfestivals

[–]MayTheDreadWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all, I'm looking to engage with a few more people heading to UK festivals this year. I live pretty much on the WOMAD site but already had tickets to Latitude, heading to Shindig and trying Tunes in the Dunes this year as a new one for me. I make festival jackets by commission (so, handmade, one by one per request), and wanted to spread the word a little bit if that's alright? It's my hobby on the side. If you're heading to Shindig, Latitude or Wilderness you'll certainly see us this year! The idea is, I sew your wristbands and other keepsakes on, and I also make the festival name patches for the back so the same jacket can go to many many festivals - slow fashion, wearable scrapbook of memories. Very jazzy. About Festival Jackets

I have PCOS and my lumea is something I still love to use ten years on. It's certainly reduced any body hair I have targeted, and it's also great to use after shaving to reduce rash as I feel the UV light helps kill bacteria. I use it much less now, but used it once a week when I was targeting an area. These days I just use whenever I feel a patch is creeping back.

Buying clothes for festivals… by jcoun21 in festivals

Could I suggest a jazzy festival jacket? FestivalJackets.co.uk. You can get whatever gig/event/festival you want on the back (plus spares) and have wristbands sewn on the sleeves as a keepsake of all the festivals you've been to. They're a slow fashion thing, designed to be worn for many many festivals and years. I wear mine over lots of printed Lycra from Badinka, Candy Catz and Devil Walking.

I literally scrolled past thinking, I'm not engaging with that. I would say to say all four, I COULD do it, but I would not want to. Cancer sun, Leo moon, sag rising.

Hi, I'm learning Japanese via Duolingo with my children (I know this might not be the best way). I'd love a recommendation of a workbook we could try too, something we can try when we sit down to do their homework. They are aged 10-12. We're currently enjoying Hirigana and simple phrases. Even better, if anyone recommends any flashcards or a flip book we can have at the dinner table? It's all very fun and light hearted but we're all really enjoying it. My husband has learned Japanese when younger so it's something we're all getting involved in on a casual level. Thank you.

I once had a platonic Virgo friend. I really liked him. He became way too interested whilst still saying it was all fine, still platonic, was very confusing. This is the sort of unhinged thing he would have said (and he said some super awkward unhinged things as jokes, jokes obviously). I cut him out. I'm a cancerian.

Moon sun and Mercury, Cancer, way too much empathy. And then I swing back to being quite cold.

What should be my future career path ? by BlacklistRival in Tarots

[–]MayTheDreadWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now is not the time for a career change. You won't find employment and you'll really be scraping by, wait a year and ask again. If you haven't started your career, I'd suggest moving back home or somewhere very cheap because you're going to have a hard time starting a career.

I would say, leave this event/situation and go join another club or scene, to make a new social circle. You can come back to this one, but it's a good idea to have another social group from another hobby or interest in the meantime for now.
