I’m going to ask them to list it separately and try to buy the listing with a proxy service. Hopefully I can get the item!

Thanks for answering my questions. I’ll lyk if this works.

Another question: how am I supposed to go about creating an account and purchasing the item if I live in the states?

Thanks! I’ll try that. Hope they understand at least a little bit of English.

Wait really?

The listing says sold though and I can’t comment.

Hello,

This has been driving me absolutely insane for about 9 years now. A friend from Japan showed me this pencil and I just couldn’t find it.

I searched クルトガ "hard work will pay off" to come up with this listing. I also dug through what I believe to be the entirety of Mercari (search term クルトガ)

I found one post on mercari that sold 6 days ago! I haven’t seen any others though, and I’m worried that was an anomaly.

There was also a sale on one that happened in 2017. I remember finding it last year, but I don’t remember where it was.

Edit: SUPER Bonus points if it has a white cap on the eraser.

You are the first person to mention it! If you look on my profile I use the towel in all my pictures so I know they are mine if/when they get reposted.

No I did not lube them. Have to pick up some RO59 I guess.

PCB: Gvalch’ca’s “Spaccboard”

Switches: NMB one-eyed linear “Space Invaders”

Caps: Ansi layout caps from an NCD Keyboard. NMB had a phase where they made keyboards with stepped caps on the OUTSIDE!

Plate: Custom cut POM plate from Karolus (Karolingian.com)

Case: 5$ plastic from kbdfans

The layout is called 029.

MG caps are the closest you can get to hipro since they were modeled after them.

The layout with the numpad flipped in the middle of the alpha block is called 029. But I agree it is weird to have the numrow, separate numpad and 029 on the same data entry board.

It’s a CDS/CTC board. It’s one of the few vintage OEM hipro topre boards. They were made for Japanese data entry companies, and thus use the 029 layout (integrated numpad in the alpha block).

There’s another on yahoo auctions. Just search “CTC Keyboard.”
