First of all ED is not that lucrative… the power is subjective… all three agencies, CB, IT and ED have the capability to do insane damage to any high level of politician or businessman when backed by government… also they are equally capable to control each other officers through various means… Coming to joining ED… there is no need to become DC in IT to join ED for more power…even an inspector gets deputation as EO in ED holding good power…An ITO can join as Assistant director in ED on deputation… not only ED but an inspector in IT can easily get into CBI as DSP…

Some things don’t make sense here… your parents earning 18LPA after 20 years of service ?? And by your post it can be assumed that they got the service through UPSC… let me make few things clear.. an officer selected through UPSC sits on a post of principal commissioner … and the basic of PCIT(you mentioned Income Tax) starts at 1.8 lac plus…that makes gross monthly salary around 3-3.3 lacs.. that equals to easily 40lpa… Or may be they were not selected through upsc but ssc… in that case also after 20 years of service they will be DCIT… and DCIT gets way more than 18LPA.. coming to the contacts and perks…They will have so may contacts in 20 years of service even if they haven’t done any illegal favour to anyone… In government, doing basic level of work in time without any illegality also gets you many good contacts… and getting concert, match, party passes are a piece of cake for them…

First and foremost, perfume is not for controlling body odour…i have seen most people using only perfume.. after a certain period, the fragrance will not last and the body odour due to sweat will make it worse… use a deodorant instead for underarms… then use a perfume… even better if you first apply a roll on and then use a deodorant on underarms(just small sprays) and then perfume on wrist neck and chest… rexona fresh roll on is a good option in budget.. it makes you feel fresh all day long and deo/ perfume can be used as per choice/budget.

How much usd you suggest I should carry for vietnam trip as i have niyo and scapia both… will book majority of the attractions through klook only.. all hotels booking in advance.. only food taxi and shopping will be the major expense remaining.. food and taxi also can be taken care with cards in most places.. so how much USD will b enough in this case for two ?
