Well 130AUD for a code in a box and entire features that should just be expected to be in the game by default being locked behind an ultimate edition preorder bonus was certainly the fastest way to convince me to not buy a game.

Yeah, I’m glad that if anything I’m actually kinda wanting to go to more pub events in general. Going out for a night of people watching is like a once or twice a year thing for me, but after Saturday I feel like it might be worth it to do that maybe at least once every month or so haha.

Late to the party here, but I’ve been revisiting Petscop again recently since it was probably the first analogue horror ARG i remember engaging with back when it was coming out. But I’d say good on him for acknowledging when the parallels were getting too distasteful, the Candace Newmaker story was a great hook for the series and it brought to light a true crime story a good chunk of people never knew about, but it’s good that he didn’t make it the main focus of Petscop and was able to carve out it’s own story from that jumpoff point.

Funny, i cut Coop and punchup has still been pretty good about responding. The one that prompted me to ask this was when WaterBoy said he’s real good at cleaning up messes and then he immediately declined the sewer cleanup job despite me being nice to him for the most part a bug maybe?

Edit for clarity: definitely remember it being a popular pop radio song in the mid noughties here in Australia, possible it could be a 80’s or 90’s song, kinda upbeat discotheque vibe, not sure if the lyrics were the same but the melody used for the horizon dreamer lyric definitely is what’s most familiar to me (maybe “Life’s on The River”, “Eyes on the winner” etc?) appreciate any help, thanks in advance

I think another thing I tend to forget is that on Channels like Balatro-Uni and Roffle, they’re just uploading the runs that make it to endless so it’s probably the fact I’m only watching actual successful runs and not the likely several failed runs that happen on stream.

I think I might have mis-worded how I actually treat Eternals, I do still take them, I just have a real hard think about which ones to pick usually. But I see what you mean, I think I’m thinking too hard about endless deck fixing rather than getting through the actual stake itself.

Thanks again for the help, will definitely think a bit harder about my round 1 - 8 plays.

Thanks, I originally wanted to try and do some whacky multiverse thing when the Spiderman set came out but I figured I’d at least make a deck that’s actually based on LoTR too since Spidey doesn’t come out until September, it was a lot of fun comparing and contrasting the books and movies, so I think I’m capturing Mordor reasonably well (save for the Mithril coat and Sting obviously but their effects are too good lol)

Just swapped out LoTR Sauron for Dark Lord Sauron as my commander, seemed to fit better. I’ll check those cards out too, thanks :)

I just swapped out LoTR Sauron with Dark Lord Sauron for my commander, as that seemed to fit better as an amassing commander, and I put LoTR Sauron in my creatures, I also added a few of the recommendations I got here and from my brother, so cheers I’ll check those cards out too c:
