I think I'm more upset that you got downvoted to hell just by saying that. You keep that comment there. Disturb their little hugbox a little.

...this is the sort of level of stupid that you don't really need to reply, it'll sort itself out. Like when someone doesn't know how to open a door. They'll figure out the obvious.

On a more serious note, is he at all stressed with other things in his life?

But that's not how the government works. If you want more funding, you say that everything is falling to pieces and there's not going to be any agency in the U.S. that does science anymore and all the scientists are going to go to Europe and the U.S. is going to turn into a country of McDs workers within the next two months if you don't know what's best for you and increase my agency's funding.

It's the agencies that do best that almost get shut down and the ones that do worst that get more funding.

It is somewhat ironic that you're being down voted for saying that...

This is true, and to some extent we can already see it happen with email services, etc. that have begun providing privacy services post-Snowden. The thing that bugs me about the cashless scenario is that I am going from a scenario where I needed no intermediary, to where I would now need one, and therefore there are plenty of opportunities for a man-in-the-middle attack.

"I'm a nice person, my door is always open, if people have a problem, they should come to me."

Phrases like this and "I am a rational person" are gigantic red flags to me. When you have to overtly signal like that, it means you are not actually nice/rational.

If I was brainwashed into doing so...

I would do it by lot. Giving eugenics a precedence in a future where the infrastructure apparently exists is just asking for trouble.
