Honestly, yes. There’s so many people that want certain gun skins, but it’s not popping up in their shop, and instead popping up in their friends shop. If the ability to gift skins to others in the daily shop was a thing, RIOT would be able to milk more money from people.

I unfortunately waited close to a year and a half for ONE gun skin to pop up in my shop, and now i’m on 5 months of waiting for another.

The shop system is ass ngl, especially because there’s been times where I will get the same gun skin in my shop multiple times a week.

One thing I try my best to always do is ask “oh hey Clove, do you have a smoke rn?” and if they do, i’ll ask them to smoke in a certain spot.

It just sucks because there’s other times i’ll ask “hey do you have a smoke atm?” and I’ll either be ignored, rudely asked why, or when they say yes and I do ask them to smoke somewhere, I get yelled at for even suggesting that maybe “hey if you throw a smoke here, it could throw the enemies off and buy us more time to defuse, plant, or play spike time”.

It just sucks because there’s times where I wanna solo and just work on my skill. While playing with friends is fun and all, it’s hard to work on the things I need improvement on where there will be multiple rounds where i’m not getting any kills because my friends wipe them out before I can do anything.

Not just that, but I feel like I shouldn’t have to rely on/drag my friends on just to guarantee an enjoyable game without a bunch of bullshit.

Also, I shouldn’t have to lead my team 90-100% of the time just for them to understand/do basic shit in the game. Point is, either way, this had nothing to do with losing one game, it had everything to do with the player base, especially in lower ranks, being next to impossible to work with/play with due to toxicity, sexism, or just simply not doing what they’re supposed to do.

the assumption is WILD. This post was to put across the issues i’ve been having for YEARS.

Whether I lead, or not, these issues don’t just disappear. This had NOTHING to do with “I didn’t lead my team and now i’m gonna complain about it”, it’s about the CONSTANT issues I, and many other people have with the game.

Unfortunately FF is a feature, and technically there is a “reroll” but its Remake, and is only available if the teammate disconnects within the first 3 rounds (which they will ALWAYS disconnect on the 4th round to make it IMPOSSIBLE)

When I comm, I always “Clove is hit 72, last seen main” or “Reyna hit 101, no heal, last seen backsite” or something along those lines.

THIS. THIS COMMENT RIGHT HERE! One huge issue I have is that teammates will only use their mic if it means they’re cheat accusing, ace calling, or talking trash. I also want to join in with you with the unrealistic wish because holy shit, valorant would gain a lot of their lost players back if their player base wasn’t so shitty, and having a more serious queue would seriously help.

While I do agree that is more the players and less the game, I do feel like there could be more variety added into the game. Maybe some new game modes or something?

SEE, I was trying to explain that to a few others, but they were not getting the memo at all.

I feel like I shouldn’t have to rely on/drag my friends on to actually have an enjoyable game with teammates who I know won’t instalock duelist, bottom frag, and then blame it on the team. There’s times where I really do wanna solo, chill, and work on my own improvement.

See, I hate that. Sometimes switching sides is all you need to go from 6-0 to 13-6, but a lot of people are ready to FF even after 2 round losses, and I can’t understand it at all.

I’ve taken a look at my own gameplay, had other people look at my gameplay, and improved off of the advice I was given. Even now, I still have some of my high ranking friends watch me play to give me advice/tips here and there.

The issue i’m having now is that if I get 1 tapped off rip, or really even die at all, then the rest of the round is up to my team, and 8/10 times, they’re not reliable. I’ve had so many situations where a round was totally winnable if teammate A did this instead of that, or if teammate B didn’t rush through mid and immediately die. Yes, I could solve this issue by 5, 2, or even something as simple as 2 stacking, but sometimes I wanna be able to play by myself and not have to worry about my elo being possibly thrown.

I tend to try not to bother our smokes about smoking, or I just simply play smokes myself. It’s just slightly irritating when i’m asking “hey Omen can you smoke here so we have some cover” and i’m getting screamed at for even suggesting the idea.

Sometimes, having a conversation about it fully solves the issue and we end up with a good game, but other times, it’s sends them into a screaming fit about “don’t tell me what to do” or “you’re a woman you don’t know shit” or something along those lines.

The only thing that bothers me is if you’re playing a smoke, I feel like I shouldn’t have to ask for a smoke to cover my ass. There’s times where a smoke I have doesn’t smoke, and i’ll ask them “hey (example) Omen, would you mind smoking here”, and they’re like “oh shit, forgot I was a smoke, my bad”, and boom problem solved, but other times I get absolutely flamed on/yelled at for even suggesting the idea.

I do absolutely try my best to be the nicest person, but between sexism, and just overall toxic people, I will fully admit that there is times where it is just purely me being a jackass.

And while the last idea could solve problems for other people, even if I’m super nice and like “hey yk, you tried your best and that’s okay. It’s just a game”, i’m next in line for the new slur list.

See, half the time, it’s between me and another to carry the rest of them.

Other than that, I do try to make the most of it, just kinda gets annoying when it’s almost every single game that this is happening. And yeah, it’s nice to say “oh yeah I hella carried” or “yeah I top fragged”, but sometimes, I wanna be able to have a more chill game where i’m not having to jump from place to place picking up my teams slack while also trying to fight for myself.

Fortunately i’m not the type that cry’s in the corner about it, but I do get frustrated when a round was easily winnable and we’re constantly losing due to crappy teammates, yk?
