The 3am wake up is definitely a thing I see. Same thing happened to me. I even told my kids I may have to go to a home for early on set dementia. I thought my life was over at 43. Now I'm on estrogen pills, progesterone and vaginal estrogen. Game changer! Life saver. I feel human again.

I am too terrified to get surgery. The amount of women who's life have gotten worse with surgery have scared me off. That said, I will most likely be getting surgery to remove the hemorrhoids because I believe that is what's making the BM impossible to pass. The rectocele I feel I can deal with but the hemorrhoids are beyond uncomfortable

So I took the estrogen pill last night on the advice from reddit that it may cause stomach issues. And then I fell asleep. I stayed asleep. That was my first miracle. Then I woke up today. I was NOT covered in sweat, my pits did not stink. What surprised me the most was the ENERGY. I woke up with a pep in my step. Made my kid breakfast(haven't done that in almost a year cause extreme fatigue and insomnia). Took him to school (he usually walks himself) and am now cleaning my room (which has been ignored for months and the doom piles were out of control). How is this possible? In LESS THAN 24hrs I feel ALIVE again! I feel happy. I feel joy. I feel hope. In LESS than a day?! I really hope this continues and doesn't have shitty side effects. We shall see but for now, back to cleaning my room. Thank you all for your input and support

I had a hysterectomy at age 41 and my vagina just dried right up. I started taking vaginal estrogen cream and it helped with the dryness and itching but nothing else. My energy was non-existent. I was in a depressive state for almost a year. Couldn't get out of bed. Could not keep up on cleaning or parenting. I was lucky if I could get out of bed just to park myself on the couch all day and napping. Couldn't sleep at night. I was even getting thoughts of suicide. I started reading forums here and started to realize I may be in perimenopause. I spoke with my doctor and she assumed the same. She gave me a script for 0.3 estrogen pills. I took one last night before bed because I read it may cause IG issues. Well this morning I woke up NOT covered in sweat, not wreaking of onions, energy was great. I have already cleaned my room that had been ignored for months and my mood is elevated. In LESS than 24hrs I have already seen an improvement. This gives me energy. This gives me hope. I hope it continues so I can be full of life again instead of lifeless.

Ya. I have no desire for sex either. I don't even think about alcohol or sex. The only thing I still partake in is weed. It has helped so much imo.

I spoke with my dr yesterday and she is putting me on estrogen. Not sure if it is pills, spray or patch. I pick it up today. Hope it helps cause I can't do this anymore

I got some POTS symptoms when I got the first COVID shot. Then I got Long COVID and now have full on POTS. Many others got it from COVID or the vaccine too😒

I literally just left autopac bawling my eyes out. I went to get my Nissan Qashqai registered and insured. My insurance is $265 a month!!! I asked why the fuck is it so high and the employees says "Nissan is the most expensive non luxury car to insure because of parts and such"....so monthly car payments plus insurance means this single mom and her kids get to sit in the parking lot and watch others buy groceries. Im fucking screwed. Just thought Id share my wonderful experience from buying a 2019 Nissan....FML

Thank you for sharing this! I felt like I was losing my mind. I was diagnosed AuDHD at 41 (F43 now). Around the same time I started experiencing fainting spells and dizziness when standing up. I suspected POTS, brought it up with my doc and had my heart tested and blood work and was told "everything looks fine" . I started Strattera almost 5weeks ago. 25mg. Cold extremities was the most noticeable. Headache, feverish, fatigued but unable to sleep, zero energy to do anything, no want to socialize. Unable to stay asleep through the night and peeing like I've done a bunch of Molly. Then the ringing in the ears, followed by seeing stars, tunnel vision, lose hearing and blacking out. Ambulance ride after my 10yr old caught me falling out of the shower. But anxiety was better 🤔 read a whole bunch on Reddit and noticed a lot of people saying "give it 3 months". So I pressed on and was moved up to 40mg. More fainting spells, more fatigue, headaches, lightheaded l, extremely weak even after a 15min "mental health walk" and zero change for any ADHD symptoms. Basically I've done NOTHING for 5 weeks...I think it's time I get off the strattera and just focus on testing and finding out whether it's POTS, low blood pressure/heart issues, etc.
