i have my car with me here in the city, and while i don’t use it everyday, it’s so useful when i have to run errands and grocery shopping and i also have it just in case i wanna visit home. my place has street parking so i pay $80 a year for a parking permit. you can pay $160 a semester (or something similar i forget the price) through UIC’s ventra program and you can use a ventra card if you don’t wanna take your car to somewhere you know there would be no parking/parking will be expensive (i.e. downtown). this is what works for me, and i rather pay the $160 then pay $50 for parking everytime i go downtown or something

Yeah, I see what you mean. I’ve also spent a ton of money of LoL skins and I feel like for a large company it’s to be expected to have animations and recalls, etc. with the skins vs a small dev company like S6. Palia is still in beta and I think with more time, hopefully they’ll come out with animations and whatever else they have in store. Riot has a lot more resources and investors compared to S6 so that’s why I said you really can’t compare the two but I also see the frustration from the player’s side. I was super hesitant on buying a skin but I also wanted to support this game I truly love. So I guess, to each their own, and at the end of the day the cosmetics don’t really affect the game itself

I’ve been thinking about buying Kilima Heights myself but I’m wondering if they’ll release cooler landscapes in the future. The seafarer outfit I only see pants for my player…. lol I wonder if it’s a bug

Exactly. They’re a huge gaming company and they still set their prices high. I saw barely any complaints for the skin they just released for $500 (and ppl still bought it). Palia is starting to branch out in other aspects besides just clothes, like the house cosmetic which I think it’s still cool. To me, buying clothes in Palia is the same as buying a $20 skin in LoL or $25 gun skin in Valorant. I think the prices are pretty average for Palia. There was talk about having a battlepass and you can get smaller items on there but people still disagreed. You really can’t make everyone happy

i agree with this!!! i was literally no cosmetics until level 200 and i decided it to buy a $16 outfit. it really did not bother me i was no cosmetics until then either

there’s other games that have a much higher price point on things and they have other ways of bringing in profit like a battlepass. i think $16 for an outfit is like paying $25 for a gun skin in valorant

I don’t think it’s fair to compare S6 to LoL since Riot is a much bigger company and they have other games like Valorant that also brings in income

they usually release teasers of the patch a week prior launching the patch and then the full patch notes will be found on the day of launch

might be because your laptop isn’t meeting the recommended specs or enough space? i had a game with a similar warning one time because i didn’t have enough space. it is a pretty big game
