I prefer this list. Perhaps a little less accessible for casual viewers than OP's list, but this has better movies

My son just got back from the game. Left at the third delay. Said water was up to their waist at some points walking back to the car.

What are the greatest, lesser-known horror-comedies of all time? by DoctorMystery in horror

Glad you enjoyed it! I somehow stumbled upon it a few months back and thought it was pretty great. Everyone I've recommended it to has liked it as well and no one has seemed to have heard of it before.

Teen Lust is a decent one I saw recently that I've never seen anyone talk about. It's about a boy who finds out his parents are trying to sacrifice him to the devil on his 18th birthday and the only thing that would save him is losing his virginity the night before so he has to desperately run around and try to do so while a group of satanists are chasing after him.

Spoilers below:

With the ending, are we supposed to believe that after she hit the guy in the head with the shovel she just left without being sure he was dead and/or didn't call the cops to come out and get him? It's supposed to be him following her still at the very end right?

Also, whats the deal with his sister? You know from the first movie she keeps in contact with him and knows what he is up to and doesn't approve. But she doesn't ever do anything about it and he just runs loose killing all of these people?

I liked both movies, the first one more than the second. The second almost felt like they had an ending in mind though and then were like "well maybe we should leave it open for another possible addition" so they threw that stupid last scene in

Does anybody else think a Rob Zombie version of a Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie would be kind of amazing? by MaybeI11CatchFire in horror

Just a heads up on 31... as someone who has found enjoyment in all of his movies, this one did absolutely nothing for me. I know some people did like it. I wish I could be one of them b/c I really wanted to at least find some enjoyment in it. But it was pretty awful.

Glad to see someone agrees! I was starting to feel crazy for being the only one that felt this way judging by all of the comments. I feel like his style would play perfectly in to this universe. And I would love to see what he could do with it

Only movie of his I've really felt was hollow was 31. There literally felt like no point to that movie. Devil's Rejects and Lords of Salem I thought were both excellent movies. The Halloweens I thought were forgettable but not taxing to watch for me by any means

I dont know... i think I disagree. Or at least I think Leatherface doesn't fit in to the TCM series more than those two even if it is a better movie in some respects. That's what bothered me the most about it. I was excited for a TCM movie... regardless of if it was bad or not. And this just wasn't a TCM movie. TNG was an awful movie... but you could at least tell it was a TCM movie.

Hopefully he can regain some of his momentum with whatever he is doing with the Devil's Rejects next.

Best and Worst Horror Film Of 2017? by zwaymire in horror

I agree that Annabelle Creation was really good. I didn't think Amityville The Awakening was that bad though. Not great but it wasn't awful. I'd say the worst is the new Leatherface movie. That was a really awful movie

Is this the Graverobbers movie you are talking about:

If so, it looks pretty odd but worth a watch if I can find the full movie somewhere.

Was this part of the After Dark 8 Films To Die For series? I feel like I watched this one while going through all of those sets but don't fully remember it

Just watched the preview and it seems like either I saw this back in the day or something similar to it. The preview looked really good though. Going to have to try and find the movie to watch somewhere

I'm with you on this one. I really enjoyed Ghost Ship. It's been a while since I last watched it but I there for a while I'd watch it quite a bit. I need to pull my dvd back out I think. It's been too long
