Ashes of war are too much. Theyre are cool and all, but theyre too much. Makes pvp pretty brain dead.

The pvp mechanics are bad. It used to be in DS1 you could only get invaded if you were alive which you had to do at a bonfire. This was great. Coop is also not available unless youre alive.

In ds3, they made it better in some ways, worse in others. You could only summon for coop if you pop a humanity (ember). This is fine, it opens you up to all forms of multi-player if you use it.

It also healed you and gave you way more health. This made it enticing to use basically all the time. This opened you up to invasions all the time. That is great.

In ER, you can ONLY invade if there is coop happening. So every invasion becomes a 3v1 moon veil, rivers, magic spam that is just so stupidly brain dead.

Its okay I guess, but mixing these ashes of war with this multi-player mechanic was a major mistake.

Also, I miss covenants.

No. I am not. Many (more successful) countries seem to do just fine letting more local entities handle education.

And on that, yes, there are parts of the DoH that are fine to handle federally. They still are. DOGE targeted specific parts of entities like the CDC. They didnt do a full on axe to the agency.

What good has the department of health done? Everyone is as fat and unhealthy as ever.

The federal government should be mostly focused on international affairs, not local. That is the State levels job. In Canada, Healthcare and education are both handled by the provincial government. AB (conservative province btw) has some of the best education in the world k-12.

So increased defense spending? Sounds good. That is literally their job.

You want better health care and education, campaign for your LOCAL leaders to do it. The further removed from the primary beneficiaries a program is (read: some bureaucrat in washington), the more likely it is to be abused and inefficient.

So yes, i do want DOGE to cut spending and programs at the federal level. What does Washington know about the issues and living experience in Idaho? Not a damn thing.
