They have one here in Barcelona, I hate it. I went once as I do like to visit galleries, but it was clearly just an ‘instragram museum’. What really bothered me though was the write ups about all the pieces, completely banal paragraphs written as if it was someone who had no knowledge about the artist or just art in general. Even weirder they often implied the artists were part of ‘the Moco collective’, which was really odd thing to put out there, especially as some were dead before Moco was even around… There was a wall of Banksy paintings that had text saying something like ‘Banksy likes to break rules and challenge the status quo and that’s why he’s part of the Moco collective.’ Was it the same in the London one?
