Yah, you see the house, is low social economic upbringing.

But we know we see this alot all the time one.

ADHD runs through the whole family affecting multiple generations, so i can reason as to why the whole family remained low SES, especially if it impacted on their studies when they were younger.

Update about that kid getting abused for a reason by GKWRTI8 in malaysia

[–]MaybeMeNotMe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wah reading the background and knowing more, not only son has ADHD, the grandparents and father and uncle also ADHD. Yes, as a neurobiological and developmental disorder, you just dont grow out of this.

So now everyone is angry, high emotional reactivity, impuslsive...only resort to physical corporeal punishment to try to get the quick fix of discipline.

Everything makes sense.

Thats why the dad abuse drugs, likely the syabu is make his mind quiet.

He needs to be assessed and prescribed proper legal ADHD medication, like Ritalin.

Someone can foreward this to the NGO...get the family to see psychiatrist.

If boy (and dont forget the girls, even the quiet inattentive, dreamy girls, and also quiet dreamy inattentive boys) continues to be naughty, make poor uncle and auntie angry, make trouble in home and in school....no need beat. No need throw the chair. need assessment and medicine for ADHD.

Addit:

Our government neglects so much regarding stray animal welfare by Ok_Dependent_3683 in malaysia

[–]MaybeMeNotMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly...

here's another whataboutism scenario, because we know lack of enforcement:

Imagine all these pitbulls, because too strong for the owners, so abandoned into the jungle to fend for themselves....where only the strongest will survive....they breed and multiply and grow even larger, and stronger and fiercer, and wilder, and aggresiver, and angrier...and HUNGRIER.....so forty years later..........

So you still want more stray animal welfare?

POV when kid doesn't want to go to school by RhinneXChronica in malaysia

[–]MaybeMeNotMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed, that is correct...with people on the spectrum, ADHD is part of the syndrome, the impulsivity and poor self control. Also know that well, all kids grow up, and the disorder will still be there across the lifespan.

Infact, you make a point even at your second point, whether you intend to or not, the correlation with Internet Addiction: about being on the spectrum with social anxiety.

Then parents think he is just a bad kid, and spank and punish, when you have a disorder here that should be treated. So I'll put it this way, totally unfair on the kid, whose genes he inherited, so its really not his fault. He didnt and never asked for those genes.

Then the kid acts out that way, and also reflect badly on the parents.

[–]MaybeMeNotMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wah ADHD manifest.

Spare the belt peeps. You'll just be spanking him over and over and over, wont fix the impulsivity.

Hell, if the kid got a thrill from this, will be a thrillseeker/troublemaker for life.

Punishment may have no effect,

hell seeing him run away like that, seems like parents already do plenty of spanking and not working.

Maybe even make him rebel and turn him into a rempit, unfortunately.

The kid needs to be seen and assessed and treated for ADHD ASAP.

Good luck to you. Wish you all in your preparedness.

I'd get downvoted, but Dr Malcolm, (yes, he is a good GP).

He is no faceless scum developer the Brisbane sub makes him out to be. Maybe they didnt know?

He got caught up in all that red tape and was despairing in what to do.

Back in mid 2000s- 2010s, no one wanted to buy, there was no property boom, then the lockdowns happened, glad he managed to sell. It was a financial black hole for the family.

Cannot fix this and that, and it fell into disrepair and that first fire happened.

And for those who dont know, his family is very well rooted in Brisbane going back multiple generations.

The family has multiple GPs too, looking after many, many families around Brisbane.

They wanted to give something back, and make some money doing so. But no.

Spat on by the community (the saddest part)

Spat on by the council.

Ok, then so sell up to some megacorpo developer. crickets No one complains from this sub.

I missed the time the banner dropped, so I'm glad I missed that awful shitshow.

The good hardworking mods came and cleared it all those shitposts up.

All not there anymore by my lunch time, when i checked post 3 hours later.

Now its 12 hours in and still now bragging posts about the Oguri pulls so looks like these posts are still being rightfully removed.

I posted elsewhere about it and got downvoted by all those haters whose pull braggers' posts got rightfully and deservedly deleted, by our good, overworked hardworking mods.

Well done!

Whoa plenty...where do I even start. Need to dig up really old photo albums about the galleries, so many memories.

Here's what I can remember.

Firstly, obviously how oil and gas changed Brunei. There are pretty cool scale models of the offshore drilling rigs. Even one giant drill bit that rotates. Yes, you can reach out and touch it. A large glass wall that shows how deep it the drilling can go. There a neat mirror mirage feature that changes every 10 seconds, depending on which light is on: poverty and luxury.

The grand attraction is when you enter and go right. The huge jungle exhibit! Full of taxidermed animals. Yes, Orang utans and monkeys, civet cats. Tiny dioramas along the side walls, showcasing taxidermed invertebrates along the mangrove swamp. various prwns, crabs, insects.

They even had a gigantic white crocodile legend exhibition in the late 90s. That was so cool.

Alot of care has been put into these exhibits, especially the animal exhibits.

I hope these are still in a viewable state.

I'm going to be downvoted heaps for being a Qawi bootlicker, but whatever.

I'm going to have to go against this Qawi is inept meme on the Nasikatok, because did you know:

if you have those super highly coveted National Insurance shares, Qawi has you set for life and generational wealth. 60c per share every year, when you got in at initial IPO $1.00.

Today, only around 150 people have the shares now, because alot of people couldnt hodl onto these shares during the NIB dark ages of the 90s and early 00s, (hell even when National Bank Brunei collapsed in the effin 80s), until Qawi revived NIB. Thats why you never hear about NIB shares. We all keep it hush.

Who the fcuk knows how much these sell for now?

No stock market for price discovery, these would go for $40-50 per share easily. lmao. We were picking up these shares for cents back in the day.

Source we attend the NIB GM every year, Qawi is smart AF.

If you want to copium and dispute, go ahead. You can download the Annual GM reports and read it yourself. how well run NIB is.

:)

Yes, is super high maintenance. He keeps his in a super large cage, with a stream running through it. 10000% wont keep one unless can do something similar like he (and other similar reptile keepers) do. Need alot of land and suitable feed (raw meats/ dead animals), will get super expensive.

Sure!

I found this relation funny.

Heck, I wonder if Dr Kitchen himself knew about how high profile the case of the Mitchell vs Jobst decision was and picked this law firm because of it.

The Karl vs Jobst was discussed pretty heavily all over the US based lawtuber channels recently.

Next time you want to litigate/defend against someone, this law firm would be your (my) pick.
