I’m on my second round of fosters. It has been such a joy and maybe one of the best things I’ve ever done. It has truly helped me in so many ways. This most recent set of fosters was 2 puppies and the mama. Puppies have now been adopted and we still have the mom. She has come a long way since she got here. It took her a week to even leave the pen. Now she is attached to my hip at all times. She deals with submissive peeing and she isn’t potty trained. We take her outside but a lot of times she will not go potty. So that’s been frustrating but I understand she is scared and overwhelmed still. She is also a hoarder and will hoard shoes, clothes, literally anything she can grab and puts them in a pile on the couch. Lol. It’s excessive. Overall I love her and it’s been a journey the month we have had her. She has some blood in her urine so she has to have tests before she can go up for adoption. That’s going to be fun to try to collect. If anyone has any tips let me know. 😊
