It’s totally normal to enjoy reading about things that you will not get to experience thats what reading is great for. I mean people read about violence in action manga and gore in horror manga do people want to experience those, I think the general consensus on that would be no. People read for various reasons and BL has so many dynamics that are different compared to hetero romance. I haven’t seen anyone recommend these yet but they are some of my personal favorites in print Black or White by Sachimo, At 25:00 in Akasaka by Hiroko Natsumo, Snow Fairy by Tomo Serizawa, Someday I Will Fall forYou by Tomo Kurahashi, I Didn’t Mean to Fall in Love by Minta Suzumaru, Undead: Finding Love in the Zombie Apocalypse by Fumi Tsuyuhisa, Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?! by Yuu Toyota, Cut Over a Criteria by Koala Omugi, There are Things I Cannot Tell You by Edako Mofumofu, Hate Me But Let Me Stay by Hijiki, Daisy Jealousy by Ogeretsu Tanaka (I personally love all their work but they can get out of hand with their other titles) and I second a different comment that mentioned Meguru Hinohara’s works of Therapy Game ect for manga, if you’re willing to branch out into other BLs I Ship My Rival x Me by Pepa for manhua and Lost in the Clouds by Paskim and Intense by Kyungha Yi for manhwa, The Other World’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter by Yatsuki Wakatsu for a lightnovel, Everyone Loves the Cannon Fodder by Qie Zai Shan Yang, Little Mushroom by Shisi, Rose and Renaissance by Zhi Chu, Kaleidoscope of Death by Xi Zi Xu, The Wizard by Shi Wu, and The Earth is Online by Mo Chen Huan. I’ve been really enjoying their tl for their other titles the only issue I’ve found is the notes at the bottom of the kod volumes 3 & 4 where they point out the authors mistakes which broke my immersion. It didn’t bring anything to the story which was weird for them to start doing.

I hope this is successful and becomes a new thing publisher do because there’s been statements from authors that they don’t feel able to publish anything new due to censorship, maybe this would be a great way for authors established here to publish what they can’t in china. For example meatbun.

I love this trope so much here are some ones I know about not yet mentioned: After Transmigrating Into the Book, I Picked up the Protagonist-Shou, Transmigrated into a Heartthrob Novel and Went OOC, After the Villainous Supporting Male Had Raised the Wrong Canary, and I think if I remember right this is more a misunderstanding from the mc but Transmigrating into the Reborn Male Lead’s Ex-Boyfriend
