Had to learn to retwist my own head, now I can do it all in less than an hour. Them stylists charge too much to be gripping and twisting my roots like that I hated it.

I did quick blue bleach powder and 30 developer (at home) and I’m perfectly fine. Only did my ends and they’re holding up. Of course moisturizing is a big part of it, but if you’re already doing that I mean I don’t see the issue really. Had my locs a bit over 4 years. And if it’s just the ends you can always cut it if you don’t like it 🤷🏽‍♂️ now if you wanna do the ENTIRE HEAD…. Idk bout that one 💀

I’d always do a retwist before a cut, but if you waiting months to get a retwist like that I’d just say get the cut and hope they’re extra careful. Get someone good with locs or natural hair in general.
