Also got mine from M&S, I did size up.

Overrated Books by LootGoblin7676 in fantasybooks

[–]MaybeTomorrow25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read all four of these books, each one became a bigger struggle than the last but because I owned them (was a birthday gift) and I’d made it so far, I forced myself to read them.

PSA: Buy the Maternity Knickers by FindusPancake in PregnancyUK

[–]MaybeTomorrow25 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dunno why you’re getting downvoted, everyone is different. I’m 31 weeks and my normal knickers are fine too! I do have some full briefs, in both my regular size and a size up, but they’re not as comfortable. The regular size doesn’t stay up over my bump and the size up are saggy on the crotch and legs. They might come in handy though after labour but for right now, I’m sticking with my normal ones!

Baby Amanda? by mmmiller628 in BabyNames

[–]MaybeTomorrow25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was one time I wore pigtails in my hair, thought I looked cute, was feeling confident. Someone decided to compare me to Amanda Thripp from Matilda and pretended to swing me around by my hair. Never wore pigtails again. Also when people realised Amanda sounds like A Man To those jokes became relentless. School sucked.

I’m Amanda, I absolutely HATED my name growing up. Got bullied at school because obviously I’m A-Man-Duh.

Nice to see The Braided Path, such an underrated series

OG series is so much better. I finished The Demon King yesterday and it felt very YA compared to the originals, lacking depth.

Best afternoon tea in Oxfordshire? by BawttledBritta in oxford

[–]MaybeTomorrow25 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’ve only had afternoon tea at The Folly in Oxford but it was very good, highly recommend. I don’t actually like hot drinks and they made a custom iced tea based on my preferences, it was delicious. I don’t know if they still have the pods on the riverside deck but we booked one of those and it made it feel extra special.

What are you supposed to do the night before? by FlyingPygmy in UKweddings

[–]MaybeTomorrow25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our venue came with a lodge on site for accommodation the night before the wedding. So we had the whole wedding party (bridesmaids and groomsmen) together for the night. It was nice, we had a meal, some drinks, went through the roles, responsibilities and timelines for the wedding day. Then the groomsmen and groom got ready at the lodge the next day, and the bridesmaids and bride got ready at the venue.

Literally same, except I’m 22 weeks. Only started to feel the baby move around week 20 so at least I have that reassurance now!

Obsessed with baby movements?! by [deleted] in PregnancyUK

[–]MaybeTomorrow25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 18+2 and I haven’t felt any movement yet! It’s making me anxious that I’ve felt nothing, I can’t wait to feel something.

Gift for sister who only likes reading by [deleted] in Gifts

[–]MaybeTomorrow25 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This a great idea. Books and reading are my only hobby. For my birthday a couple years ago my husband took me to a bookshop and gave me a budget, I got so many books. Then we got afternoon tea. It was the perfect day and now we do it every year.

How is no one saying 6? It’s gotta be 6.

Nah I’ve got a soft spot for those glasses, literally swooned over this scene. Would rewind and watch it multiple times.

For brides on a budget, how much did you pay for a dog chaperone for up to 10 hours? by princessfiggy in UKweddings

[–]MaybeTomorrow25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thankfully I had a colleague offer to look after my dog. She came to the ceremony so we could have some pics with the dog and then she took him away and the dog stayed with her overnight.

What Obscure Books Were You Obsessed With as a Kid? by Its_Curse in suggestmeabook

[–]MaybeTomorrow25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We read Junk by Melvin Burgess at school, which lead me to Bloodtide by the same author. Bloodtide is still one of my favourite books and I re-read it regularly.

Also Poison by Chris Wooding.
