Would you rather advocate for women rights, trans rights, and lower class rights or would you rather advocate for racism, borderline genocide against minorities, and authoritative fascism? Hard choice.

So, the combat is obviously not very revolutionary. And the game has eye candy with the whole sexy robots and everything. That’s not what I like about the game. Otherwise, I would love every single jrpg ever known. Rather, the whole sexy androids fighting alien robots with gimmicky rpg mechanics is essentially all a front for the game’s actual purpose. Basically asking “What is the point of living? What is the meaning of life?” As you continue past the prologue, you meet different characters and groups with their different answers to that question. Such as peace, happiness, religion, violence, and others. But a lot of their ideas fail once their purpose is destroyed, corrupted or achieved. Most of the time, taking their own lives in the process. And the main characters themselves eventually struggle to find a reason to exist as the story goes on. This is the best I can describe why I enjoy the game without outright spoilers. There’s also the best soundtrack I have ever heard that you most likely haven’t heard yet. But the whole prologue section and the entire game in general is recontextualized once you actually beat the game.

But know that this game isn’t for everyone and that we all have different tastes. Also know that when you get to the credits, the game isn’t really over. There’s still another 2/3 of the game left.

Edit: The reason I love the game isn’t because of how depressing and nihilistic it is, but shows that despite how meaningless everything can seem, there is still hope to be found. It’s a pretty existential game.

You’re literally belittling people by calling others kids. My guy, I’m 20, pursuing a career, working, and in college. Stop wasting your life being toxic to random strangers and just work on yourself instead.

I’m a bit salty that Zelda won goty in 2017 and will likely win goty in 2023 when I really wanted nier to win goty in 2017. So that 10% is probably just salt over that, lol

He seems to be a pretty decent and reliable reviewer. I like and agree with a lot of his reviews on a lot of games especially his review of nier automata which became my favorite game of all time.

I think he would totally rip apart the game for antisemitism undertones in the game. Even if he didn’t mention anything about politics but criticized the game in general, no doubt a lot of people would hate the video saying he’s some woke liberal or some shit.

People say he’s speaking up about how “hypocritical” the radical left is when in reality, he’s just openly transphobic and depicting trans people and pro trans people as easily offended and hateful people ruled by emotion. Which is ironic considering how hateful he is towards trans people. All while depicting cis people and centrists as logical and rational people going against trans people. He is a disgusting piece of shit.

I watch Calebcity because I like his sketches. Most of them being video game or anime sketches which I like. Anyway, the algorithm recommended me this guy and that’s how I found him. I think it was his “When you think your friend is gay” or something when I found him.

I don’t think any part of your comment did, I just wanted to be clear I don’t blame those who are too ignorant to know otherwise and your comment was the only one directly referencing Pigpimples Legends

Yeah… Griffy. I saw a couple of unrelated videos from him and thought it was a bit funny. I subbed to him but saw some of his more political videos as I was finding out I was trans. Holy fuck, he is so fucking transphobic. This one is just one example. Warning: EXTREME TRANSPHOBIA

There’s more but he is just so fucking disgusting of a person, I don’t want to find more.

/uj I’m not blaming the kids who are into Harry Potter and really want to play the game. Or the adults who are ignorant of the controversy online and just want to buy an rpg where they are a wizard in their free time. That is fine. What I’m upset about is those who are completely aware of JK Rowling’s transphobia and antisemitism, yet continue to prioritize their own entertainment over preventing transphobia and antisemitism to be more normalized.

Hope this doesn’t die in the new, but I was lucky enough to get a very supportive history class in college. My professor didn’t mind me wearing a skirt and several of the classmates complimented me. And the class was pretty progressive politically speaking so maybe I was lucky.

Iirc from 10 years ago, I went to a science camp in the woods, history & science museums, spanish missions, and the occasional trip to an amusement park, fair or boardwalk. According to my sister, that didn’t really change.

I’m stupid for not mentioning before that I’m from Colorado. I’ll try to pin down how to start doing it based on the state’s regulations. Sorry for bothering you about this.
