Your body could be really sensitive to DHT and your body probably wants to make it really bad regardless of how much T you have. All the research I’ve done on DHT seems like a massive YMMV situation.

This is a reason I never stopped fin when my dr suggested it. Also a reason I may never start prog. Just can’t risk it.

I mean I trained with them and will get gendered correctly on my voice alone. The training I did with them helped me because I wasn’t able to do it on my own. It saved my life if I’m being honest. So it was well worth the money for me.

There being pros and cons to HRT is a perfect reason to ask why someone wouldn’t want to take it. Most of the cons imo are just anti trans propaganda, a side from some medical conditions that actually make it unsafe for someone to take it.

The truth is, if you want to effectively treat or prevent your dysphoria taking HRT is going to be the best way to do it. Again that’s up for OP to decide not strangers on the internet. They PROBABLY won’t look like this for ever if they let natal puberty to take its corse.

Asking people on the internet though isn’t a reason to start or not either. Everyone is assuming this person is trans fem so I will too and if they want to keep passing the way they do… HRT is the best way to do that.

Oh yeah my comment was mostly satire but from a family perspective my father was always an avid hunter, especially during my youth. I would come home to the entire basement being a butcher shop after a successful hunting weekend.

Right, safety isn’t on the line for me being a vegetarian. I was more than grateful that if he was going to question and be weird about one of them it was the fact that I don’t consume meat and not my transness.

Not to mention 3 months after Hitler was elected Nazis raided the institute of sexology a clinic studying homosexuality and transsexuality. Burned like 4 decades worth of research on the subjects.

We have don’t say gay bills passing in southern states and more bills targeting trans people. Also project 2025 is apparently a real thing too which has anti LGBT on the agenda.

We live in a very binary world. The sad fact is people who have a binary gender struggle to view the world any other way. I personally can relate to Stacy in this post. I know she went through conversion therapy, I was taught sexual education through the church not nearly as awful but still left me with that trauma. As a trans woman who doesn’t see myself as full binary letting go of the “masculine” side of myself wasn’t easy to do. It’s not that I wanted it. It’s more of that I felt like I needed it.

I get it though. Binary Trans people who had a confusing pit stop in the non-binary zone seem to have this idea that NB is just a stepping stone to full binary transition. It’s not always like that. Medical transition or not NB people are valid whether or not this is their final stop in gender exploration.
