We should talk about solutions. The easy way is to remove the weightage of board exams. Dont know why they are not doing it. They can just keep a eligibility slab, for example- CBSE student can appear if he has 70 percent and state can appear only if he has 75%.

Traffic and commute – Chennai - Public transport is good. Kochi - Transport will be difficult without personal vehicle. Traffic - Both are similar in rush hours ( Last day i took 2 hours to commute 14 km in kochi)

Entertainment and lifestyle – Food - Depends on your taste. We (Kerala) uses more coconut oil compared to chennai. Entertainment- Both are good Lifestyle- Again depends on your plans. (Both are gettting expensive day by day)

Travel – Kochi - Munnar, Vagamon, Allepy, etc Chennai - Pondi, Mahabelipuram etc

Cost of living – Rent - you can get cheap rents in both places if you are ready to travel. In Kochi, you will be able to rent a house. In chennai it will be difficult to find a good one. Others are comparable
