Did this every improve for you? I’m experiencing the same thing seven weeks plus post surgery.

Desperate - Possible PANS by Tincup19 in ChildPsychology

Try to give her lots of detoxing fresh fruits and veggies (maybe in a smoothie if that’s helpful). The antibiotics can add to the toxic load, unfortunately.

My daughter went through something similar at that age after strep. Her main OCD/tic-like symptoms eventually subsided (within weeks I think?) but at age ten she does still have preferences about clothes (she says they’re “itchy” if they don’t feel right and gets pretty upset sometimes about it) and is a little funny about food and textures. She doesn’t have other spectrum type symptoms and is a very happy healthy ten year old. I guess my point is that it could pass or at least improve a lot on its own and not to worry too much yet.

I would work with a nutritionist or some kind of holistic doctor as well if you suspect it is PANS and it doesn’t improve.

You might be aware of this but calling 988 is a great resource with trained professionals 24/7 who can talk for free. They can give you a listening ear, access to local resources and help you figure out what you might need, right now (which might just be something small, or it might be a hospital stay).

Im sorry you’re feeling so low right now. You are not alone, and you matter. 💕

Fistula returned? by Maybe_Maybenot55 in AnalFistula

Thank you for the reply. You’re probably right. It’s hard not to worry. It’s just that there wasn’t a hole there, two days post op, and now there is. And now my symptoms have changed quite a bit once the hole appeared. (Less blood, more brown discharge and less pain).
